Louisville’s East End is definitely a historical district. Louisville was first established as a town back in 1779, one of the Hurstbourne area’s residents Maj. William Linn was of the 39 who signed the petition to the Virginia Legislature to establish it as such. Nevertheless, this area hasn’t gone unchanged since the antebellum, development has been going strong with some of the city’s finest suburbs, shopping malls, and high gastronomy being located right in the East End. Truly being a neighborhood for shopping, dining, and family fun!
